Michael Eigensatz

Michael received his PhD in Computer Science from ETH Zurich, where he became the mastermind of the paneling algorithm used for computing cost-optimized panelizations of freeform surfaces. Michael joined Evolute in July 2010 and strengthens our team as a project manager, developer, and researcher.

Mathias Höbinger

Mathias got his MSc in Applied Mathematics in 2009 with his thesis about circle packings on freeform surfaces. After joining Evolute, he continues to deepen his own knowledge of his beloved circles and is working hard at making their beautiful architectural applications accessible for everyone by developing plugins for Rhino.

Florin Isvoranu

Florin has a degree in architecture and joined Evolute in May 2011. He strengthens our team as an experienced architect and power user of Rhino, and is the main contact point for EvoluteTools for Rhino.

Martin Kilian

Martin received his PhD from Vienna University of Technology. He joined Evolute in March 2008.

Alexander Schiftner

Alex joined Evolute in 2008, after receiving his MSc in Applied Math from Vienna University of Technology. He is Evolute's manager and the primary contact for consulting services. Alex contributed many original ideas to our research and continues to develop unique software based on research results and consulting experience.

Helmut Pottmann Scientific Advisor

Helmut Pottmann has been Professor of Geometry at Vienna University of Technology since 1992, and he is currently Director of the Geometric Modeling and Scientific Visualization Center at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Saudi Arabia. With his unrivaled expertise in applied geometry, he has been Evolute's primary scientific advisor since the very beginning.

Heinz Pottmann CEO

Heinz Pottmann holds a master´s degree in electrical engineering and has 25+ years of experience in software development.
